Pacific Southwest Pallets serves businesses and industries nationwide, utilizing our numerous relationships with pallet providers across the country. Today, we are living in a more ecological-minded society. Recycling and the restoration of natural resources have become important issues. The lumber industry has been under close scrutiny by ecological agencies who are concerned with forest depletion. Trees are removed for commercial purposes at a rate much higher than their growth rate. Everything that is transported by truck, ship or airplane is hauled on a pallet or skid. Many pallets are damaged or destroyed, while others are sold, remanufactured and resold. Wood from pallets that cannot be restored may be recycled and used to remanufacture other pallets. Constant recycling and restoring of pallets and skids does make a difference. Pallets may be restored and reused repeatedly. Pacific Southwest Pallets wants to make a difference by suggesting that more companies use remanufactured pallets.
